where it all started
Two bored boys on a repeat visit to a local art exhibit …
In an effort to make the most of our admission fees, I started thinking about different ways to engage with the art around us. I tapped into my years of experience designing interactive museum classes, but also what I’d learned from planning birthday parties and inventing team-building scavenger hunts. I started testing out games we could play, challenges we could tackle, and little questions that could shift our ways of looking and thinking. That’s how the Discovery Deck was born …
